In the comic world, there's a huge possiblity that Cyborg might be finally graduating from the Titans to the Justice League.
Facts:
In the first issue of JLA, Cyborg's name was mentinoned as a possible candidate for membership.
The release date for the issue where they reveal the members of the JLA is rather close to an issue of Teen Titans where the solicitation reads "changes are in store for Raven and Cyborg".
And... though it's purely incidental... in "Smallville", the "prototype JLA" team that Clark puts together will include Cyborg.
There's just a lot of extrapolation going on right now. Too many things are too close to be just coincidences. We'll see what happens in March.

They really messed up Cyborg in Smallville.

They just had all of his robotic parts internal instead of external. Made it easier to make- just a little CG when he was x-rayed.

Actually from looking at that episode, it appears that he might have some sort of "plastic skin" over the metal parts.
Though his origin... yeah. That's made more "friendly" for the show. It fits in more connected to Luthor than the original "mad scientist father" origin (though there was never a sister - Vic's an only child).

I hated his "friendly" history, it messed him up entirely. Cyborg is my favorite DC superhero, and they screwed him up.

Back to the topics main purpose, I could see him joining up. I didn't really think of it before, but it seems like it could happen.

I hated his "friendly" history, it messed him up entirely. Cyborg is my favorite DC superhero, and they screwed him up. Any more so than the cartoon? At least J. Torres is planning on addressing a cartoon-style origin for Cyborg in TTG. Cyborg is one of my favorite Titans (behind Beast Boy and Flamebird). I would like to see him somewhere he's getting utilized. I think the current series started with a good premise, then got overwhelmed by the former YJ members and the whole Crisis going on now. Even right now that Vic is "back" from his coma-like state, he's just "along for the ride" while our least favorite scene stealer leads the team.

I saw it. Smallville had Cyborg, Green Arrow, Impulse, Aquaman, and Superman all on it. They even did the "Walking away from an explosion in a line" ending. They are improving on Cyborg, though he still didn't shoot any cannons, all he did was hit people.
